COMMUNITY TRAINING

CPR Classes

The Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad (MSHVFAS) is proud to offer CPR classes exclusively for residents of the Millburn-Short Hills community. Our goal is to increase the number of CPR-trained individuals, raise awareness about cardiac arrest care, and continue our long-standing tradition of service to the community.

These classes follow the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for Adult CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an official AHA certification card.

Courses are available at a reduced cost for community members aged 16 and older. Participants aged 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The nominal course fee covers AHA certification materials and administrative costs.

All instructors – and every member of MSHVFAS – are dedicated volunteers. As a nonprofit, we rely entirely on private donations and do not charge for our 911 emergency services. Any additional tax-deductible contributions are greatly appreciated and help us continue offering life-saving training and care to our community.

You can reserve your spot in one of two ways:

  • Purchase tickets below using your credit card,
    or
  • Email us at info@mshvfas.org to hold your spot and bring a check to our building at 188 Glen Ave, Millburn.

Once your spot is confirmed, you’ll receive a verification email.
